The wooden palette seems to be missing from my kit

Your wooden watercolor palette might look a little different from what you expected! 💙

The palette is a flat walnut wood piece made of two halves that close together using small magnets. When opened, it reveals eight paint wells and a white mixing area.

It should be located in its designated compartment inside your Watercolor Kit.

Where can I find my wooden palette?

  1. Open your Watercolor Kit box and check the compartment containing the flat wooden piece.

  2. Look for a small wooden case that opens into two halves. When closed, it may not immediately look like a traditional watercolor palette.

  3. Gently open the wooden halves to reveal the eight paint wells and white mixing area. Avoid forcing the palette open if it appears stuck or damaged.

  4. If you ordered multiple Watercolor Kits, check each box to make sure every kit includes its wooden palette.

What if I expected a plastic palette?

Our Watercolor Kit includes a wooden watercolor palette rather than a traditional plastic palette.

The wooden palette contains the paint wells where you can add and use your watercolor paints.
