What is the Painting Academy?

The Painting Academy is a digital learning experience that may be included as either a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription, depending on the option you chose at checkout.

With the Painting Academy, you get access to:

There is only one Painting Academy purchase associated with your order.

How do I get access?

The Painting Academy community lives on Skool. After you purchase, you'll receive an invitation email to join, sent automatically within 24 hours of your order.

If you don't see it right away:

  • Check your inbox and spam/junk folder

  • Search your inbox for "Skool"

Once you accept the invite, you can log in to Skool anytime here:

If it's been more than 24 hours and you still can't find your invite, you can look up your order using the subscription portal, or feel free to reach out to our support team at info@tobioshop.com.

What does it cost?

We offer the Painting Academy in different ways, depending on the offer included with your purchase. Your order confirmation or subscription confirmation email contains the exact details of your purchase, including any trial period (if applicable), pricing, and billing information.

Your purchase What it means
One-time purchase You pay once. There are no recurring charges and nothing to cancel.
Subscription Your subscription may include a free trial. If applicable, recurring billing begins after the trial period ends and continues until you cancel. Your confirmation email contains the exact trial length, billing amount, and billing date for your purchase.

Is the Academy linked to my physical kit?

No, the Painting Academy is separate from your physical kit. It does not affect the shipment or delivery of your order in any way. Whether your Academy access is active, paused, or cancelled has no impact on the kit you ordered.

How is my subscription managed and billed?

If you purchased through Tobio's website, any recurring Painting Academy subscription is managed through our subscription platform, Appstle. Charges are billed monthly and may appear linked to your original order.

If you subscribed directly through Skool rather than through a Tobio's purchase, that membership is managed by Skool, not by Tobio's — for billing or account questions on a direct Skool subscription, please contact Skool support.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

If you made a one-time payment, there's no subscription to manage or cancel — you're all set.

If you have a recurring subscription, you can cancel it at any time, with no need to contact us:

  • Open the subscription portal using the link below

  • Enter the email address you used at checkout

  • You'll receive a secure login link by email — click it to access your subscription

  • From there, you can cancel your subscription whenever you'd like

After cancelling, you'll keep your Academy access until the end of your current free trial or billing period, whichever applies — you won't be charged again after that.

Trouble logging in to the subscription portal?

If the portal isn't loading or you can't get past the email field, try:

A reminder: the subscription portal is only for managing your subscription (like cancelling or reactivating). Your Academy community access itself comes through the separate Skool invitation email.
