Our wooden watercolor palette is made from natural walnut wood, which can respond to moisture and humidity.
A slight change in shape may occur after painting. However, if your palette is significantly warped, won't close properly, or arrived damaged, our support team can help review the issue. 💙
What if my palette bends slightly after painting?
If your palette has developed a slight bend after use:
-
Gently wipe away any excess moisture with a soft, dry cloth.
-
Leave the palette open on a flat surface in a dry, well-ventilated area.
-
Allow it to air-dry completely before closing or storing it.
Avoid forcing the palette closed or using direct heat to straighten it, as this may cause further damage.
What if my palette won't close or arrived warped?

How can I prevent my wooden palette from warping?
To help keep your palette in good condition:
-
Gently wipe away excess moisture after painting.
-
Avoid washing, soaking, or rinsing the wooden palette under running water.
-
Allow the palette to air-dry completely before closing or storing it.
-
Avoid prolonged exposure to water, excessive humidity, or direct heat.
-
Rewet dried watercolor paints with a few drops of water from your water brush instead of soaking the palette.
If your palette continues to warp or becomes difficult to close, please contact our support team for assistance.
