Responsible Usage Guidelines 😌

At Bandou, we prioritize the well-being of our users, particularly our young listeners. To ensure the safe and enjoyable use of our product, we advocate for responsible usage practices. Please adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Moderate Usage: Bandou headphones are designed for balanced use. Avoid prolonged listening sessions at maximum volume settings. 2. Sound Level Recommendations: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), maintaining a continuous sound level below 70 dBA for music through headphones is advisable. A maximum of 85 dBA for up to an hour is acceptable. For context, 70 dBA is approximately equivalent to the volume of a running washing machine or dishwasher, providing a safe listening experience for any duration. 3. Built-in Volume Limit: Every pair of Bandou™ headphones is equipped with a built-in volume limiter set at 90 dBA, enhancing safety during use. 4. Age Consideration: For children aged 3 years or younger, we recommend utilizing the Bluetooth function exclusively and refraining from using the provided cable. This precaution is to ensure optimal safety and comfort for our youngest users. 5. Additional Safety Measures: Should you desire an extra layer of precaution, please don't hesitate to contact us at Support@mybandou.com. Our team is available to assist you in configuring volume limits on your iOS or Android device. Prioritizing responsible usage not only ensures the longevity of your Bandou headphones but also safeguards the auditory health of your loved ones. Thank you for choosing Bandou, where safety and enjoyment converge seamlessly.

Once connected, you’re all set! - If the pairing fails, simply click "forget this device" in your Bluetooth settings and try again. If you don't want to use the bluetooth feature, you can use our provided 3.5mm jack aux cable that comes with every pair of headphones. Follow this detailed XXX if need further assistance. 4. Washing the Bandou™ Headband We know kids can get things messy, so Bandou™ is designed to be washable. - Remove the Speakers: Pull the speakers out from the slot at the back of the headband. All the electronics are connected, so you won’t lose any parts. - Protect the Headband: Place the headband in a laundry bag or pillowcase. - Wash on Gentle Cycle: Use cold water and mild detergent on a gentle cycle. - Air Dry: Reshape the headband if needed and let it air dry flat, away from direct sunlight. - Reinsert the Speakers: Once dry, simply insert the speakers back into the headband, and you’re ready for the next adventure! How to correctly position my Bandou 🎛️

Bandou™ headphones are designed with a sound limit of 90 dBA to protect your child's hearing, but this safety feature also means that if the speakers are not correctly positioned, your child may experience lower sound quality. Ensuring the speakers are properly aligned will enhance your child's listening experience. Here’s how to align the speakers correctly for optimal performance: 1. Position the Headband: Place the Bandou™ headphones on your child's head, gently pulling the band down so it fully covers their ears.  2. Mark the Speaker Location: Use a small piece of tape to mark the spots on the headband where the speakers naturally rest over your child’s ears. This will help ensure you accurately align the speakers later. 3. Access the Speaker: After marking the spots, remove the headband. To adjust the speaker, locate the opening in the fabric, which is on the same side as the control module. This opening allows you to access the interior of the headband where the flat speakers are placed. 4. Adjust and Center the Speakers: Reach inside the headband and carefully separate the fleece from the flat speaker. Reposition the speaker in the area you marked with the tape, making sure to center it over your child’s ear for the best sound quality. 5. Secure the Speakers: Once the speakers are correctly aligned, press the fabric around them to hold them securely in place. This will prevent the speakers from shifting during use. Taking a few moments to align the speakers when you first use the Bandou™ headphones will ensure your child gets the best sound experience while keeping their ears safe.
