Custom & Bulk Orders — Requirements & Process

We love bringing branded scrub hats to life for medical teams, residency programs, hospitals, surgical departments, and healthcare organizations. Here's everything you need to know to get started.


Minimum Order Requirements

  • Custom-printed fabric (your pattern/design) | 5 units

  • Custom embroidered logo | 5 units

  • Personalized text (names, credentials) on existing styles | 1 unit (available on ready-to-ship items)

  • Wholesale (existing patterns, reseller pricing) | 100 units (opening order)


What We Can Customize

  • Logo embroidery — your hospital, practice, or organization's logo stitched onto the hat

  • Custom-printed fabric — your design, pattern, or artwork printed onto fabric and handcrafted into hats

  • Personalized text — individual names, titles, or credentials embroidered on any style

  • Mix & match — different styles in the same order (e.g., 10 Originals + 5 Ponytails + 5 Skull Hats)

  • Custom sizing adjustments — crown width and elastic modifications available on bulk orders


The Custom Order Process

Step 1: Submit your request
Email us at support@taylormadescrubhats.com or fill out our custom order form. Include your quantity, desired styles, and any logo or artwork files you have.

Step 2: Requirements & pre-qualification
We'll confirm your order meets the minimum requirements and let you know what files or information we still need.

Step 3: Digital Mockup
Once we have all your details, our team will prepare a Digital Mockup showing exactly how your design will look on the hat — scale, placement, colors. No commitment required at this stage.

Step 4: Invoice & approval
We'll send a formal itemized invoice via our secure payment portal. Production begins once the invoice is paid.

Step 5: Production
Custom orders typically take 2–4 weeks in production depending on quantity and complexity. We'll keep you updated throughout.

Step 6: Shipment & tracking
We'll ship your completed order and send tracking information as soon as it leaves our facility.


What We Need From You

To prepare your mockup and invoice, please provide:

  • ✅ Quantity and style(s) desired

  • ✅ Logo or artwork file (PNG or EPS with transparent background preferred; high resolution)

  • ✅ Personalization details (individual names, titles, credentials — if applicable)

  • ✅ Preferred shipping address

  • ✅ Target delivery date (so we can flag any timeline concerns early)


Pricing

Custom order pricing varies by quantity, style, and customization type. Volume discounts apply at 20+ units. We'll include all pricing details in your formal invoice after reviewing your project.

Note: Standard promo codes and discounts are not applicable to custom orders due to the specialized setup and production costs involved. Volume discounts are applied automatically at the invoice stage.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix different styles in one order?
Yes — you can mix and match any styles as long as the total quantity meets the 5-unit minimum for custom production.

Can I get just one hat with my name on it?
Personalized text (names, credentials) can be added to any ready-to-ship hat from our online store as a 1-unit order. Logo embroidery and custom-printed fabric require a 5-unit minimum.

What file format do you need for logos?
PNG with a transparent background is ideal. EPS or SVG vector files also work well. We can sometimes work with high-resolution JPGs — just send what you have and we'll let you know.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to customs fees and duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Delivery times vary by country.

Can you match our organization's colors exactly?
We do our best to match colors faithfully, and our Digital Mockup will show you how the colors will look before production begins. Some variation may occur due to fabric type and printing process.
