Chaos Audio – Returns & Exchanges Policy

Thank you for being a Chaos Audio customer!

We’re so confident you’ll love Stratus® (and everything else we make) that we proudly offer 30-Day Hassle-Free Returns. If for some unimaginable reason you don’t love the coolest gear in the world, here’s how to start a return:


How to Return

  • Email support@chaosaudio.com within 30 days of the date you received your item.

  • Only products purchased directly from Chaos Audio (via chaosaudio.com) are eligible for return.
    Products purchased through other retailers must be returned through those sellers according to their policies.


Return Eligibility

  • Items must be returned in original condition with all cords, adapters, packaging, and documentation included.

  • Missing accessories or damaged packaging may result in additional fees.

  • Some items are not eligible for return:

    • Chaos Audio Gift Cards

    • Products used for software development purposes


Restocking Fee

  • Unopened Products:
    If your item is returned unopened and unused, you'll receive a full refund (excluding any original shipping charges, if applicable).

  • Opened or Used Products:
    If your item has been opened, registered, or used, a 10% restocking fee will apply.
    (This covers the cost of inspection, cleaning, and repackaging.)


Refund Timeline

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will typically be processed within 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.


International Returns

  • International customers (outside the United States) also have 30 days to request a return.

  • Return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are the customer's responsibility.

  • The same eligibility requirements apply (see above).


Exchanges

  • If your product arrives defective or damaged, we'll make it right!
    Contact support@chaosaudio.com within 7 days of delivery to arrange a free replacement.
