Download the Chaos Audio app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

Update Stratus firmware using the Stratus Update Tool for the best experience and access to all features

Create a free Chaos Audio account in the app to access all features and enable automatic preset backup
App Overview: 3-Tab Layout
The Chaos Audio app uses a simple 3-tab layout:
| Tab | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Pedalboard | Build and edit your effects chain, add effects, adjust knobs |
| Presets | Browse saved presets, access cloud-synced presets, sync to Stratus |
| Settings | Configure modes, MIDI, Bluetooth, and app preferences |
Key change: The old Tone Shop and Library tabs are now combined — tap "Add Effect" on the Pedalboard to browse all available effects (owned and purchasable).

Neural Amp Modeler (NAM A2) brings studio-quality amp captures to Stratus:
- More accurate than ToneX, Line 6, and Quad Cortex in blind tests

- Uses ~52.5% CPU — pair with an IR for a complete amp rig

Cabinet simulation via IR files:

Bring your own .nam and .wav files from your computer:
- Tap "USE MY OWN" in the NAM or IR categories

🎚️ Drag & Drop Reordering (NEW!)
Rearrange your effects chain by:
- Dragging effects directly on the Pedalboard
- Dragging the colored "chips" at the top of the screen
