Sign-in and account problems

Category: Tips, tricks and troubleshooting

Enode Pro has no passwords, which removes most of the usual sign-in trouble. What remains is covered here. For normal installation and first sign-in, see Getting started with Enode Pro.

The one-time code has not arrived

Wait a couple of minutes, then check your spam or junk folder, then request a new code. Codes are sent per attempt, so an older code stops working once you request a new one; make sure you are typing the most recent one.

Check the address too. Sign-in only works with the exact email address on the account, so a work address and a personal address are two different people as far as Enode is concerned.

"This account uses Enode One"

Legacy One accounts cannot sign in to Enode Pro. The app points you to the One app, or you can start a migration to an organisation account. See Switching to the new Enode Pro.

I signed up instead of signing in, or the other way round

Sign-in and sign-up are deliberately separate flows, so a typo in your email cannot silently create a duplicate account. If you land in the wrong one, the app offers a one-tap switch to the right flow. Use Sign up only if your organisation does not have an Enode Pro account yet.

If you think you may have created a duplicate organisation by accident, contact support rather than working in the new one. Merging afterwards is harder than fixing it early.

Device limit reached

Your licence allows a set number of device sessions. If you hit the limit, the app shows a dialog that walks you through freeing up a slot. In The Portal, the Devices page lists every signed-in phone and tablet, and deleting a device signs it out and frees its capacity. See Devices and stations.

Caption: Hitting the device limit gives you a route through it rather than an error code.

Pending invitation or unfinished setup

If your account has an open invitation or incomplete onboarding, the app guides you through resolving it at sign-in rather than failing with an error code. Follow the prompt through to the end; a half-finished invitation is the most common cause of "it says I have no workouts".

I was sent back to the sign-in screen

Your session expired. Sign in again and you will land where you were headed. The whole portal is behind sign-in, so an expired session returns you to the start rather than showing a half-loaded page.

Signing out and deleting an account

Sign out from Settings → Account. Account deletion lives in the profile drawer and is confirmed with a one-time code sent to your email, so an account cannot be deleted by someone who picks up your device.

Still stuck

Contact support from Settings → Help & Support and send a diagnostics report. It includes what support needs without you having to describe the state of the app.
