Setting Up Your Floating Jellyfish Lamp Follow these steps to set up your Jellyflow Floating Jellyfish Lamp for the best experience. Physical Setup 1. Attach the tentacles into the holes under the jellyfish head. The longer tentacles go in the center, and the shorter ones around the edges. 2. Secure the pole firmly into the base. 3. Mount the jellyfish head securely on the pole. 4. (Optional) You can use the loop at the top of the head to hang the lamp with a hook or string. Powering On Standard Model (Button Control) - Press the power button to turn the lamp on - Press again to cycle through different colors and effects Remote Model - Use your remote control to turn the lamp on or off - Select different colors, adjust brightness, and choose lighting effects (flash, strobe, smooth, glow) - The remote also allows you to enable or disable tentacle movements Important Note About the Base The lamp base is sold separately. Options to purchase with or without the base are available on our store page. No base? No problem! You can still enjoy your jellyfish lamp by hanging it—just thread a string or hook through the small loop at the top of the jellyfish head. Light Mode Button Settings Your lamp has two main modes controlled by the Light Mode Button: Outside Mode - Activates the sound sensor - The lamp will turn off after 20 seconds of inactivity - Best for: Interactive use where the lamp responds to sound/movement Inside Mode - Automatically turns the lamp off after 20-30 minutes to conserve battery life - Best for: Ambient lighting and relaxation Important Note Some lamps may have the modes programmed in reverse. This does not indicate a defect—simply try the other mode if your lamp isn't behaving as expected. Quick Guide If your lamp is turning off unexpectedly: 1. Check which mode you're in 2. Switch to "Inside Mode" for continuous operation (up to 20-30 minutes) 3. Make sure the lamp is fully charged Troubleshooting If your lamp still doesn't function as expected after checking the modes: 1. Review the included manual's "Quick Guide" section 2. Regular Maintenance Water Level - Check water level monthly - Top up with distilled water only if needed - Never use tap water (minerals can cloud the tank) Cleaning the Tank - Clean the outside with a soft, dry cloth - For inside cleaning, drain the tank and rinse with distilled water - Avoid soap or cleaning chemicals inside the tank Jellyfish Care - Handle jellyfish gently when adjusting - If jellyfish become tangled, carefully separate them when lamp is off - Rinse jellyfish in distilled water if they become dirty Best Practices Placement - Keep on a stable, flat surface - Avoid direct sunlight (can cause algae growth) - Keep away from heat sources - Ensure adequate ventilation around the base Usage - It's safe to run your lamp for extended periods - Turn off occasionally to let the motor rest (a few hours per week) - Unplug during thunderstorms or when away for extended periods What to Avoid - Don't use tap water - minerals will cloud the tank - Don't add anything to the water - no soap, chemicals, or additives - Don't move while running - turn off before relocating - Don't overfill - leave some space at the top Water Looks Cloudy? If your water becomes cloudy: 1. Drain and rinse the tank 2. Clean the jellyfish in distilled water 3. Refill with fresh distilled water 4. Avoid placing in direct sunlight Storing Your Lamp If storing for an extended period: 1. Drain all water 2. Dry all components thoroughly 3. Store in original packaging if possible 4.
