What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! 🌎 However, there are some exceptions. Minis and keychains usually ship fine, but larger items can be more challenging in some countries. For customers in U.S. territories or overseas military installations, please verify with your command center how to best receive your order. Mini Katana is not responsible if you cannot receive your order in an unauthorized area.

When will my order arrive?

USA Orders: We process and ship orders within 1-4 business days (not counting weekends and holidays). Typically, USA orders arrive within 3-7 business days. However, orders to Hawaii, Alaska, PO boxes, and military bases may take up to 15 business days or longer. Thank you for your patience! If you think your order is delayed beyond our usual timeframe, please contact us for an update. International Orders: We aim to process and ship international orders within 1-4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). After shipping, your order may take 15-20 business days to arrive, but it could take longer if it gets held up in customs. Customs procedures vary by country, and delays can sometimes last up to 60 business days. If you suspect your item is stuck in customs, please reach out to your local shipping service for assistance.

What if one of my items is out of stock?

We’re sorry if any of your items are out of stock! If that happens, we’ll email you to discuss replacement options. If we don’t get a response, we’ll go ahead and ship the rest of your order to avoid delays.

What should I do if I provided incorrect shipping information?

If you enter an incorrect or incomplete address, please let us know right away. Orders process quickly, so if your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll fix the address for free. However, once an order is placed, address changes usually can’t be made. Please double-check your address before submitting your order, and contact us as soon as possible if you notice any mistakes. If your order has already shipped, please contact the courier to resolve any issues and inform us as well. Be sure to include your apartment number and any other important details, as we can’t deliver your package correctly without them. We cannot offer refunds or free replacements if your order is delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect information provided. If the courier returns your item due to address errors, you’ll be charged a resend fee and standard processing times will apply. If you prefer a refund instead of a resend, we can refund your purchase minus the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and any additional international return fees (storage charges, taxes, or unpaid customs fees Mini Katana was charged). Will customs delay my package?

Before placing your order, we recommend checking customs regulations that could affect your shipment and cause delays. All international packages must pass through customs, which can lead to a slight delay in delivery. Once your package clears customs, it will be sent to your local post office for delivery. Please note that shipments to the EU and some other regions may require extra information for customs, like your Passport Number or Tax ID, and may also need duty payment before your package can be cleared. We strongly advise you to check the customs rules before purchasing to ensure your items won’t be seized. Packages must be ordered and addressed to someone who is at least 18 years old. We are not responsible if your customs agency seizes your item. By placing an order, you confirm that you have checked the import rules and understand that you are responsible for ensuring your item can be imported.

What happens if I'm charged VAT, customs taxes, or import fees?

Each country has its own rules for handling shipments from abroad. If you incur customs fees or taxes, you are responsible for paying them. Mini Katana is not responsible for any customs charges that may apply when your package is delivered, and we do not provide refunds or replacements if you refuse to pay these fees. For orders over $150 being shipped to the EU, you will need to pay VAT taxes. For orders under $150, we cover the VAT taxes upfront. If customs ask for additional VAT after you've already paid, show the commercial invoice included in your package as proof of payment. This should help you avoid paying it again upon delivery.
