• Looper Mode

Last updated on Jul 01, 2026

Looper Mode gives you a 5-minute looper with overdub capability, plus master volume control.

Entering Looper Mode

From either Preset Mode or Stompbox Mode, press and hold the silver stomp switch for about 3 seconds.

In Looper Mode:

  • The silver stomp switch becomes a master on/off for your entire effect chain
  • The Multiknob controls the looper functions

Looper Controls (Using the Multiknob)

Action Function
Click once Start recording (up to 5 minutes)
Click again Stop recording, start playback (green LED)
Click while playing Enter overdub mode (records on top of loop)
Click in overdub Return to normal playback
Double-click Pause the loop (preserves your recording)
Double-click again Resume playback
Press and hold Clear the loop entirely (red flash x3)

LED Indicators

  • Green = Loop is playing back normally
  • Red = Recording or overdubbing
  • Red flash (3x) = Loop has been cleared

Volume Control

When the looper is disengaged, turning the Multiknob adjusts Stratus's master output volume. While looping, it adjusts the loop playback volume instead.

Master Effect Control

In Looper Mode, the silver stomp switch acts as a master bypass for your entire effect chain. Tap it to turn all your effects on or off together — useful for switching between clean and processed tones without changing presets.

Exiting Looper Mode

Press and hold the silver stomp switch for about 3 seconds to return to the mode you were in before (Preset Mode or Stompbox Mode). Your loop will be cleared when you exit.
