Headphones with Stratus?

Last updated on Aug 20, 2025

Quick answer

Yes, you can use headphones with Stratus, but not by plugging them directly into the pedal. Stratus has a single 1/4 inch mono output designed for amps and interfaces, not a dedicated headphone jack.

How to listen on headphones

Use one of these setups:

  • Audio interface or small mixer: Guitar → Stratus → interface/mixer → headphones.

  • Headphone amp: Guitar → Stratus → headphone amp → headphones.

This gives you proper volume control and protects your ears and gear.

Mono or stereo?

The Stratus output is mono. Your interface, mixer, or headphone amp will present the mono signal to both ears. If you ever connect directly through adapters, use a mono-to-stereo summing adapter so you hear sound in both ears.

Bluetooth headphones

Not supported through the Stratus pedal. The mobile app controls Stratus, but audio does not pass through your phone.
