What does "Retention" status mean for my tracking?

If your tracking shows "Retention," it means your package is either being held at customs for inspection or it was delivered, but no one was there to receive it.

You (or the recipient) should have received a slip from the postal carrier with instructions on how to pick up the package. If you didn’t get a slip, it might still be at customs, and you may need to wait a few days for it to clear.

We recommend contacting your local post office as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Please keep in mind that Mini Katana cannot control how long customs may hold your package or when it will be released.

If the courier returns your package, you’ll be charged a resend fee and standard processing times will apply. If you’d rather receive a refund, we can refund your purchase minus the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and any international return costs such as storage charges, taxes, or unpaid customs fees that Mini Katana was billed for.
