How do I find my ring size?

Getting your size right before ordering makes everything easier — here are the best ways to do it. Option 1 — Order a Ring Sizing Kit (most accurate) Our Ring Sizing Kit is $9.95 and includes a set of plastic ring gauges that let you try actual ring sizes on your finger. It's the most accurate method, especially if you're buying a wider band or a metal ring. The $9.95 is fully refunded when you purchase any ring from us. Option 2 — Order a Ring Sizer We also offer a ring sizer — a simple plastic sizer you can use at home to get a quick read on your size. Option 3 — Measure with string Wrap a piece of string around the base of your finger, mark where the ends meet, then measure the length with a ruler. Use our size chart to convert that circumference measurement to your ring size. Option 4 — Measure an existing ring If you have a ring that already fits well, place it on a ruler and measure the internal diameter. Then match it to our size chart. Option 5 — Visit a local jeweller Any jeweller can size your finger for free in under a minute. Just make sure to note whether they're giving you an AU/UK or US size — our size chart covers both. ETRNL size chart — AU/UK vs US sizing

We sell in AU/UK and US sizing. Not the same — and confusing if you're used to one system. The quick version: AU/UK sizes use letters (J, L, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V…) while US sizes use numbers (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12…). Most common sizes for reference: - Men's most common US size: 10 - Women's most common US size: 6 Not sure which system you're working in? If someone told you your size at a jeweller in Australia, it's likely AU/UK (a letter). If you've bought a ring in the US or online from a US store, it's likely a US size (a number). What if I'm between sizes?

It depends on the material you're buying. Metal rings (tungsten, titanium, stainless steel, zirconium, etc.): Size up. Metal rings cannot be resized, so it's better to have a slightly looser fit than one you can't get off. A touch of extra room also accounts for finger swelling throughout the day. Silicone rings: Size down. Silicone has natural stretch and will loosen slightly with wear over time. Starting snug means it'll settle into the right fit. Still not sure? Does ring width affect sizing?

Yes and this is something a lot of people don't think about until the ring arrives. The wider a ring is, the more surface area it has against your finger, which means it will feel snugger than a narrower ring in the same size. This is normal and consistent across all ring brands and materials. As a general guide: - 2mm bands — very little surface contact, feels minimal on the finger - 4mm bands — comfortable for most, close to what you'd expect from your measured size - 6mm bands — more surface area, will feel more present on the finger - 8mm bands — the most surface contact, feels the most substantial This doesn't mean you need to size up or down — it just means getting your measurement right is especially important the wider the band you're buying. We'd recommend using the Ring Sizing Kit if you're going for a wider ring, as trying physical gauges on your finger gives you the most accurate read.

Do you offer half sizes?

For metal rings — yes. All our metal rings (tungsten, titanium, stainless steel, black zirconium, tantalum, damascus) are available in both full and half sizes (e.g. 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5). So if you land between two sizes, you can order the half size that fits best. For silicone rings — no half sizes. Silicone is naturally flexible and stretches and adapts with wear over time, so the in-between fit takes care of itself. If you're between sizes on a silicone ring, size down — it'll loosen slightly as you wear it in.

Do tungsten or titanium rings fit differently?

They can feel different — but not because the sizing is different. It's down to weight and width. Tungsten is one of the densest metals used in jewellery — significantly heavier than titanium, gold, or stainless steel. A tungsten ring in the same size as a titanium ring will feel more substantial and may feel snugger simply because of how much ring is on your finger. If you're not used to wearing rings, this can take a day or two to adjust to. Titanium is at the other end of the spectrum — extremely lightweight. Many people who've never worn rings before find titanium the easiest to adapt to. For both materials: - Wider bands (6mm, 8mm) will feel snugger than narrower ones in the same size - If you're between sizes, size up - Your finger may need a few days to adjust to a new ring regardless of material — this is completely normal If after wearing it for a few days it still doesn't feel right, our free 90-day exchange policy has you covered.

Can my ring be resized?

No — and this applies to all the metals we carry. Tungsten, titanium, stainless steel, black zirconium, tantalum and damascus rings cannot be resized once made. Unlike gold or silver, these materials are too hard or too brittle to be cut and reformed without risk of cracking. How do I measure my ring size at home?

Two easy methods you can do right now with things around the house: Method 1 — String or paper strip 1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string 2. Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on 3. Mark the point where it overlaps 4. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres with a ruler — this is your circumference 5. Match it to our size chart to find your size Method 2 — Existing ring 1. Find a ring that already fits well on the correct finger 2. Place it on a ruler and measure the internal diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in millimetres 3. Match that measurement to our size chart Tips for accuracy: - Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest - Measure 2–3 times and go with the consistent reading - Have someone help if you can — it's easier to mark the string accurately with two people - Cold fingers = smaller; warm fingers = slightly larger.
