They can feel different — but not because the sizing is different. It's down to weight and width.
Tungsten is one of the densest metals used in jewellery — significantly heavier than titanium, gold, or stainless steel. A tungsten ring in the same size as a titanium ring will feel more substantial and may feel snugger simply because of how much ring is on your finger. If you're not used to wearing rings, this can take a day or two to adjust to.
Titanium is at the other end of the spectrum — extremely lightweight. Many people who've never worn rings before find titanium the easiest to adapt to.
For both materials:
-
Wider bands (6mm, 8mm) will feel snugger than narrower ones in the same size
-
If you're between sizes, size up
-
Your finger may need a few days to adjust to a new ring regardless of material — this is completely normal
If after wearing it for a few days it still doesn't feel right, our free 90-day exchange policy has you covered.
