Two easy methods you can do right now with things around the house:
Method 1 — String or paper strip
-
Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string
-
Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on
-
Mark the point where it overlaps
-
Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres with a ruler — this is your circumference
-
Match it to our size chart to find your size
Method 2 — Existing ring
-
Find a ring that already fits well on the correct finger
-
Place it on a ruler and measure the internal diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in millimetres
-
Match that measurement to our size chart
Tips for accuracy:
-
Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest
-
Measure 2–3 times and go with the consistent reading
-
Have someone help if you can — it's easier to mark the string accurately with two people
-
Cold fingers = smaller; warm fingers = slightly larger. Room temperature is ideal
