What are these tags on the product images?

These tags are displayed on product images to help mark items that are excluded from most sale types. Third-party items are always excluded from sales. While these items are rarely included in sales, we will have occasional sales that are tailored to a specific tag (such as periodic pre-order sales, exclusive item sales, etc.) Final sale items means they cannot be returned once purchased.

Are Svaha clothes pre-shrunk? How do I clean them?

Our products are pre-shrunk and most of them are completely machine-washable! We recommend following the care instructions for each product for the best cleaning results (which is located on each product page and also on the discreetly placed care tags within each garment). In rare cases, there might be a blunder that causes certain garments to not be considered pre-shrunk, but we ensure that this is clearly noted on each page and that the garments are listed separately from our usual garments.

Are all of your products organic cotton and tag-free?

The majority of our products are now made with organic cotton, with a few exceptions, and are tag-free. Some items may have lycra blend for additional stretch, so please see the listing's details. The individual product pages will note whether or not an item is organic and which materials they contain. Our garments are primarily tagless, save for the small/required care instruction tags located in discreet & out-of-the-way areas.

Where are your products manufactured?

Since our experience in the industry has given us a variety of trusted connections in the manufacturing world, we have chosen to use a mixture of both US based and imported manufacturers in order to provide the best quality for the lowest price. All manufactures are ethically sourced, and (of course!) sweatshop free. We do not want to bring happiness to you at the expense of someone else’s! Our primary clothing manufacturers reside in India, and all of our specialty jewelry is handmade in the US by our lovely local partnered jeweler, Yugen Handmade. Something is wrong with the product I received, what do I do?

Oh no! We guarantee high-quality apparel free of manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse or regular wear & tear, but we will happily replace items that arrive damaged or defective in any way. Send us an email through our contact form along with the details and a photo showing the defect, and we will take care of you ASAP! (Our form doesn't initially allow you to attach photos, but you will be able to do so by replying to our automated email response.) Please note that due to our stock limitations, these cases must be reported within 30 days of receiving your purchase (though a few exceptions apply).

What are Print-On-Demand (POD) Items?

Print-On-Demand (POD) items are products that we outsource from a variety of locations! These items are printed and shipped separately from our usual warehouse, and are a way for us to offer a larger variety of designs (mostly discontinued ones) without overcrowding our limited warehouse space. Since these are printed on-demand, POD items are non-returnable/non-refundable once the garments have been produced! If you need to change or cancel a POD order, please reach out within an hour of placing it so that we can do our best to cancel this. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I cancel my Print-on-Demand order?

If you need to cancel your purchase of POD items, please reach out ASAP! While we are able to cancel these orders before the items produced, this no longer applies if they are already being printed by our manufacturer, since they are made to order.
