Understanding shipping methods

Discover the different shipping methods offered by meraki. to get your purchases delivered securely and promptly. Free Economy Shipping Our economy shipping method is an economy service that uses bulk-freight to deliver your items and uses reliable couriers to deliver your items for the last leg of your parcels journey. This eco-friendly method is free and relies on filling the bulk-freight requirements before dispatch, which while more sustainable, does mean delivery times can be longer. We think this is a much more sustainable option over sending parcels individually, however, we appreciate that some customers require their orders in a timely manner, so we have Express Shipping options available at checkout. Express Shipping For customers needing their orders sooner, we offer an express shipping option called Priority Production & Express Shipping at checkout. This method speeds up both the manufacturing and delivery process, ensuring your items reach you as quickly as possible. The cost is calculated based on item weight and includes a priority manufacturing fee to bump your order up the production queue. International Shipping We ship globally using reputable international couriers to ensure your items reach you no matter where you are in the world. If your shipping destination isn't available at checkout, it simply means we need to provide you with a shipping quote before you can complete on your order. Drop-off/Pickup Unfortunately we do not offer any drop-off or pickup services.

Dealing with missing, delayed or damaged shipments

What to do if your meraki. order is delayed, missing or damaged on arrival. Shipping times can vary based on many factors. If your order seems to be delayed, missing, partially arrived or damaged on arrival, we recommend the following steps: - Check the tracking information provided in your dispatch email. If your order is partially fulfilled, you will receive separate dispatch emails and tracking numbers for each part of your order. - If your order is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbours or your local post office. More often than not the parcel has been left with with a neighbour or in a safe place. - If you still cannot locate your package, please contact our customer service team for assistance. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Delayed Tracking Updates When choosing our free Economy Shipping, remember that it uses a more sustainable, bulk-freight method. This often means there might be periods of 1-2 weeks where no tracking updates are visible while the package is in a sorting centre or on a longer shipping route. You can always contact our customer service team if you have any cause for concern that the parcel is lost in transit. Marked as Delivered but Missing If your order is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbours or your local post office. Damaged Upon Arrival If your order arrives damaged, please report this to our customer service team within 48 hours of receipt. Prompt reporting allows us to handle the situation effectively. Contacting Customer Service If you still cannot locate your package or have any other issues, please contact our customer service team for assistance. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Understanding customs, duties, and taxes

Information on how meraki. handles customs, duties, and taxes for international orders. Import Duties and Taxes For customers outside of the UK and EU, please be aware that import duties and taxes may be charged by your country's customs department. The amount of these charges can vary and are determined by the customs department of the destination country. Value-Added Tax (VAT) For orders shipped to the UK, we charge VAT at the point of sale. For orders shipped within the EU, the listed price remains the same; however, it does not include VAT, as we handle VAT payment via a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) method with our shipping carrier. This process ensures that you will not receive any additional import charges upon delivery. What to do if you have received a customs payment request If you are based in the UK or EU and receive a customs or import duty payment notification, please get in touch with our customer service team who will investigate and where eligible can help to claim these costs back and credit your account. Please note, this only applies to standard consumer purchases. Business customers have a slightly different process. Business customers Business customers should provide their EORI and VAT number to help speed up customs clearance, as B2B imports are treated differently than B2C imports. We encourage business customers to check their local tax laws as some can claim back VAT on their tax returns, meaning we don't reimburse import fees or VAT for business customers as this can usually be reclaimed. Please understand that customs, duties, and tax laws can be complex and vary by country. If you have further questions, our customer service team is here to help.
