PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) measures how much usable light your plants receive.
The PPFD of the Pianta depends on how close it is to your plants. At closer distances, it provides higher light levels for active growth, and as you move it further away, the PPFD gradually decreases, making it ideal for plants that prefer bright, indirect light. This flexibility means you can adjust the height to suit different plant needs and spaces.
The PPFD can range from about 501 µmol/m²/s at 30cm, dropping to 36 µmol/m²/s at 120 cm.
