If your Lectec electric skateboard is not responding, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Step 1: Check if the Battery is Fully Charged
-
Look at the Charger Light:
-
A π’ green light on the charger indicates a full charge.
-
If the charger light is π΄ red, the battery is still charging.
-
π· See here: Charging the Battery
-
-
Check the Battery Indicator on the Remote:
-
When the skateboard is powered on and connected, the remote should show battery levels.

Step 2: Verify the Motor Wires are Fully Connected
-
Check that the motor wires are pushed in all the way.
-
Sometimes, they require a firm push to fully connect.
-
If not fully inserted, the motor wonβt receive power.
-
-
Align the arrows on the ESC and motor cable before connecting.
-
There is a small arrow on both the ESC cable and the motor cable.
-
These arrows must be lined up before pressing the connection firmly together.
-
If not aligned properly, the pins may bend and cause connection issues.
-
-
See the step-by-step guide:
Step 3: Confirm the Remote is Paired Correctly
-
Out-of-the-box, the remote should be paired, but letβs verify:
-
Power on the skateboard and remote.
-
Check for connection indicators (flashing remote π light).
-
If needed, follow the pairing steps.
