How do I install the Claria pendant light kit?

Installing the ceiling pendant light kit is easy. First, use a drill and screwdriver to attach the ceiling hook. Next, secure the cable by attaching the wall fixtures—one near the top of the wall and one near the bottom—to keep it neatly in place. Finally, hang the pendant light from the ceiling, plug it in, and adjust its position to ensure optimal light coverage for your plants. Can I set up my Pianta in the bathroom?

Please note that our products are not waterproof. While they can be used in bathrooms, it is important to avoid placement in splash zones or areas where condensation might form and drip onto the light to ensure safe and long-lasting use. Our products are suitable for cabinets and moderately humid environments, but we recommend exercising caution. For safety and longevity, avoid using them in areas where humidity consistently exceeds 90% or where water could condense and drip onto the fixture. If in doubt, please consult a qualified electrician to ensure proper and safe installation.

Why not just use an ordinary bulb?

Can I use the Pianta as my main ceiling light?

While our Pianta grow lights are designed to support plant growth, they can be used as ceiling lights as long as they are pointed directly towards your plants and positioned within 25cm - 90cm for optimal effectiveness. Our grow lights are most effective when used directly above your plants, focusing on wavelengths that promote growth. How do I set up my wall fixtures?

You can follow these steps for an easy setup: 1. Mark the ceiling where you want to hang the Enna. 2. Drill a hole about 7mm for the plastic plug (drywall only) 3. Once the plastic plug is inserted, position the wall fixture over it 4. Then, secure it with the screw and you can hang the cord Every Enna Pendant and Claria order includes a set of instructions. How long should Claria grow lights be on for?

This will depend on the type of plant you are growing and on how much natural light your plants are getting. As a rough rule of thumb to effectively mimic the sun's natural light it should be on for 8- 16 hours a day however if there is already a lot of natural light, it can be used for just a few hours a day to top up the light and keep the plant thriving. Even plants need a good nights sleep! Make sure not to run the light for longer than 16 hours a day so your plants can rest.

Understanding E27 vs B22 Bulb Fittings

Our Pianta grow light bulbs are available in two fitting types to suit different lamps and light fixtures: E27 (Edison Screw) - How to identify: The socket has a screw thread inside — you twist the bulb in like a jar lid - Common in: Desk lamps, floor lamps, table lamps, and many European fixtures - Size: 27mm diameter base B22 (Bayonet) - How to identify: The socket has two slots on opposite sides — you push the bulb in and twist to lock - Common in: UK ceiling light fixtures and some older UK lamps - Size: 22mm diameter base with two pins How to Check Your Fitting The easiest way to check is to look at your existing bulb (if you have one): - If it has a screw thread at the base → you need E27 - If it has two small pins on the side → you need B22 You can also look inside the empty socket — a spiral thread means E27, two vertical slots means B22. Which Fitting for Grow Gang Products? All of our fixtures (Stelo Clip-On, Claria Pendant, Enna Pendant, and Floor Lamp) use E27 sockets. If you're using your own lamp or ceiling fixture, check the fitting type before ordering. Note: Our Pianta 30 (30W) is currently only available in E27. The original Pianta (18W) is available in both E27 and B22.
