Connecting and calibrating the sensor

Last updated on Apr 30, 2026

Sensor calibration is important for our system to be as accurate as possible.

After setting up your workout, you will be able to connect your Enode sensor if you are using one. To connect the Enode sensor, place the sensor next to your device and tap connect. Once a sensor is connected, you will see a real-time 3D representation with 6 marked sides. Now you can place the sensor briefly on each side (it is best to do this on a flat surface), wait for the orange dots to disappear, and then repeat for each side of the sensor. Calibration is not always needed; the sensor decides if it's necessary or not.

When finishing a workout, you can also decide if you want to keep the sensor connected. This is especially helpful if you have back-to-back sessions, meaning you will not have to recalibrate the sensor when starting the next workout.

Manual calibration can also be performed without direct feedback from the app. To do this, place the sensor on each of the 6 sides for about 3 seconds. In the background, the sensor is also recalibrated, which can help with any measurement problems. Additionally, if you tap the battery icon, a box will pop up with the option to calibrate manually.

For the Bar Sensor Kit, pay attention to the markings on the sides to place the sensor according to the markings in the app.
